How I Work & What I Believe

My design principle is simple: a home should feel like it belongs to the person standing in it. I begin by understanding how you live and the atmosphere you want to create, then shape a design that supports your lifestyle rather than dictating it. Trends can inspire us, but they shouldn’t guide the entire process — the happiest homes are the ones styled for the people who live in them, not for outside approval.

My approach is warm, steady, and collaborative. I value clarity, conversation, and a thoughtful process that helps clients feel confident and supported — whether you’re settling into a new home, refreshing a tired space, selling a property, or presenting a development to market. My goal is always the same: to create interiors that feel welcoming, balanced, and unmistakably “you.”

My Design Philosophy

A home should feel like it belongs to the person standing in it.
Everything I do comes back to that belief.

I design for atmosphere — for the colours, textures, and small details that make a space feel warm, lived-in, and deeply personal. Trends may inspire, but they should never overshadow the people who live in the home. If you love it, then it’s right for your space, and most importantly, right for you.

My Aesthetic & the Atmospheres I Create

Every one of my designs centres around atmosphere — the subtle but powerful details that shape how a room feels. Colour palettes, fabrics, textures, lighting… they all matter. My aesthetic blends warm neutrals with earthy or contrasting tones, natural materials with soft fabrics, and modern comfort with traditional character. I balance harmony with personality, creating spaces that feel cosy, grounded, and thoughtfully layered.

Whether I’m styling a home for living or staging a property for someone new to belong, I aim for that gentle “I never want to leave” feeling. Spaces that feel considered yet effortless, familiar yet refreshed — homes you can settle into and feel truly yourself in.

When I’m not working on client projects, you’ll find me outdoors with my husband and our son, exploring new corners of the Hampshire countryside and watching him discover the world one moment at a time. Or I’ll be at home rearranging a room for the tenth time, trying new paint swatches, taking photos, or singing along to whatever eclectic playlist the day calls for. These moments shape who I am — and the same ease and curiosity guide the spaces I create.
